Terry spent four years teaching and advising students in Arizona until he realized it is just too hot to stay, so he moved to the mountains and began working at CSU in the spring of 2013. He advised for a few years in an academic department at CSU before joining the Exploratory Studies student advising team in the summer of 2016. Terry loves to help students create their story, develop their identity, and find that passion that helps them wake up every day eager to learn and contribute to the community. Terry is grateful to be a part of the advising team and believes that CSU is the best place to kick-start one’s academic and life journey. He also teaches two class sections of the Key Explore, new student living/learning community. Since Terry is from the Bay Area, he is a huge San Francisco Giants fan (sorry Rockies!), loves to cook, make hot sauce, and loves climbing, mountaineering, camping, fishing, and traveling the world.
