Recognizing that we all only consider possibilities that we know exist, Haley loves advising students who are exploring possibilities and trying to figure out their path. Listening to students' stories, honoring students' transition to the university, and guiding students through the exploration and reflection of their individual strengths, interests, and values allows Haley to honor each student's unique life story and suggest various paths forward . She also enjoys identifying and working to dismantle barriers to student success. Haley was awarded a Jack E Cermak Advising Award in 2010, reflecting her dedication to the profession and commitment to students and their success.
Outside of work, Haley enjoys being active outdoors, reading books, getting crafty and playing with her two (adorable) children.
