Amy Young has extensive experience in the field of education, including advising and teaching.  Although she has experience teaching secondary social studies and even briefly taught first grade, her passion lies within higher education. With over nine years of experience in advising and teaching at CSU and five years of experience teaching U.S. history at community college, she brings a blend that is ideal for supporting the academic and personal growth of exploring students.

When not working on behalf of students, Amy enjoys travel—she’s been to thirty-five countries and 49 states—reading, music, skiing, and riding her bike around Fort Collins.  Her favorite pastime, however, is spending time with her family.
