To schedule a meeting with an Exploratory Studies ASC / advisor please either:

  1. Click on your assigned Exploratory Studies ASC / advisor and use their Personal Appointment Link
  2. Call 970-491-7095 and our friendly office staff will assist you.

You need a scheduled advising appointment for most advising concerns:

  • Exploring majors
  • Course registration planning
  • Questions about success strategies in classes
  • Academic probation policy questions and strategies
  • Transferring to CSU

During certain points of the year, you should plan to schedule advising meetings 2-3 weeks in advance.

It is useful to know who your Academic Success Coordinator is. Find out on RAMweb using the ‘Your Advisor’ link.

To prepare for your appointment with your advisor, write down your questions and have a plan for what you want to accomplish in the meeting. Think about your hobbies, goals, interests and skills. Research degree programs and their requirements and review pertinent university policies and procedures.

**Please note, advising appointments are limited during June and July due to Ram Orientation **
